How my journey began

I have been obsessed with Mermaids as long as I can remember, The little Mermaid was my everything awell as Splash. Playing mermaids as long as I can remember everytime I was in the pool, which was alot in the summer.

Then I grew up and H20: just add water, and Aquamarine and even Charmed got in on the Mermaid vibes, but was not something I though was ever going to be possible.

In secondary school I took scuba diving and gained my padi qualification, being able to breathe under water and see all the fish was awesome, but not the magic I was seeking. Then at age 27 I saw Mermaid experiences advertised and was amazed.

I was the oldest one there by a long shot, but totaly loved it and asked the instructor straight away how I could do this as a job.

So I started training part time to become a Swimming teacher and after a couple years I was a qualified level 2 Swim England Swimming Teacher.

So next I signed myself up for the Swimming teachers Assosiation Qualification with MermaidsUK to become a Mermaid and monofin swimming instructor.

I had made it or so I thought, but then the long road of getting our name out there and getting booking to bring this magic to as many as possible began.

Since then things have slowly grown and I have found my pod where we all indulge our inner child.
